Bulbine mesembryanthoides is native to Northern Cape, Western Cape. It has rosulate fleshy leaves that are buried almost completely during drought, but it has very swollen leaves.leaves are ovate-lanceolate, erect, unequal, apex acute, and concave, yellowish-green, to pinkish-grey.Flowers star-shaped, golden-yellow.
