The Golden Discus is the result of a genetic mutation in the Red Turquoise Discus. In the early stages of this mutation, the discus's body color turned a faint golden hue, becoming slightly translucent, with red eyes. It had no stripes, black bars, black rings, or other杂色 (mottling), only a few head lines on its head, and red edges on its dorsal and anal fins. Overall, the Golden Discus is a highly productive and easy-to-keep discus strain.
