Peacock Gupgeon Goby (Tateurndina ocellicauda)

The colorful snakehead native to Papua New Guinea is the most famous and gorgeous species of small snakehead. Its body color is light blue, with a black spot at the base of its tail fin, red markings on its body and each fin, and orange outer edges on its dorsal fin, tail fin and anal fin, which is as bright and colorful as a peacock's tail. Male fish are similar to female fish, but the forehead of mature male fish will be slightly protruding, while the belly of female fish will show obvious golden color during the breeding period and be smaller.
