Foliage plants refer to plants whose leaves are mainly ornamental. The color, shape and texture of plant leaves determine their ornamental value. Foliage plants have a certain shade tolerance and are suitable for cultivation, display and viewing in indoor environments. Although some foliage plants can also bloom, their foliage value is usually higher than their flower value.
