Hainan Webster's Whip Spider is one of the whip spiders.
Whip spiders are a cross between a spider and a scorpion, combining some characteristics of both. Non-toxic. For example, the number of molts is the same as that of scorpions, which is 6 times in 7 instars, but reproduction can occur at 6 instars; and the two parts, cephalothorax and abdomen, are the same as spiders.
Whip spiders are nocturnal, hiding under wood, bark, stones and leaves during the day, and some in caves. Generally likes humid environment.
