The cross-shaped bow crab lives in semi-salt water areas near the estuary. It can also go to fresh water not far from the estuary and sometimes crawl on floating wood on the seashore.

The word-patterned bow crab is native to Japan, Christmas Island, Singapore, Thailand, India, Madagascar, the east coast of Africa and other places.

Food: Omnivorous, Dried fish, dried shrimp, fish food, turtle food, fruits , vegetables
