Thai Zebra Tarantula (Cyriopagopus albostriatus)
HK$348
The Thai zebra foot is native to the tropical rain forests of Thailand and Myanmar. Members of the genus Haplopelma are typical burrowing species. They dig vertical and very deep caves. Because they are also very sensitive to light, captivity should also provide them with moist, thick substrate for them to dig into for nesting. They also cannot tolerate dry conditions, which can cause them to dehydrate and die. Their growth rate is much faster than that of species from arid areas.
