Angelfish are a favorite among many aquarists due to their beautiful appearance and gentle nature. They have slender bodies and flowing lines, swimming lightly and gracefully like sprites in the water. As one of the medium-sized fish that can be kept in groups, angelfish can coexist peacefully with other fish of similar size.
Alenquer discus are a relatively primitive breed among angelfish. Through breeding, they have developed many different color variations. Among them, the Yellow Alenquer stands out for its unique charm. Its base color ranges from light yellow to dark yellow, with clear vertical stripes on its body, and blue and white stripes adorning its head and upper and lower fins. Overall, it appears golden and elegant, like a work of art.
While caring for angelfish is not overly difficult, maintaining clean and stable water quality is very important. Only in good water quality can angelfish display their best coloration and condition. Additionally, since adult angelfish can reach over ten centimeters, they need sufficient space to swim. For aquascaping, sharp sand or rocks should be avoided to prevent scratching their fins and affecting their health and beauty.
