Guangxi rock wall isopods are a type of terrestrial isopod discovered in recent years in the rock wall ecosystems of Southeast Asia. Due to their unique morphology and adaptability to rock wall environments, they have become a popular species in the pet market. They are primarily distributed in karst regions such as Guangxi and Vietnam, inhabiting limestone crevices, rock piles, and moist rock wall surfaces. Their body color is mostly green or grayish-brown, with some individuals having shiny spots. They are small (body length about 1-2cm), agile, and have high ornamental value.

Advantages of breeding:
- Guangxi rock wall isopods are arboreal isopods, and their breeding difficulty is not high.
- Compared to other isopods, they require more bark or rocks for climbing.

They prefer humidity, and can be easily kept by providing a moist but not waterlogged environment.
Care instructions:
- Humidity: Maintain 60%-80%, adjust by spraying water or injecting water into corners, avoiding standing water which can lead to drowning of juveniles.
- Temperature: Ideal range is 20-26℃. In winter, a heating pad or thermostat is needed to keep the temperature no lower than 15℃.
- Basic feed: Reptile specialized food, turtle food, or fish and shrimp food, supplemented with vegetable pieces such as carrots and pumpkin.
