Peacock Mantis (Pseudemusa pinnapavonis)-1 pair
When the peacock mantis spreads its wings, it looks like a peacock spreading its tail, hence its name. This species of mantis will eat anything that moves that it can handle. When they hatch, they mainly hunt fruit flies and mosquitoes, and as adults they can hunt large insects.
The peacock mantis has a slender body, brown color, small compound eyes, and six legs. There are many beautiful patterns on the back wings, which resemble Kaiping peacocks, hence its name. If you don't look at the hind wings, they look similar to the brown mantis, so many people mistake them for the brown mantis.
