1.因蛋白棉本身呈弱鹼性，稍有異味但不影響使用。如介意此問題可放鹽水中浸泡3-4小時。
2.使用前必須確保網袋無破損，以免顆粒漂浮導致魚誤食。
3.使用時必須在過濾棉下使用，保證水流充分流過蛋白棉，以免影響使用效果。
4.使用過的蛋白棉必須保持濕潤狀態，防止曬乾後失效。
5.藥浴中的魚不適合使用蛋白棉，避免蛋白棉吸附魚藥，影響魚藥效力。
