Watermelon Crab/Paraleptuca splendida
Watermelon crabs are brightly colored and have mesh-like patterns on their carapace that look similar to watermelons. Its pair of pincers are extremely asymmetrical. If you don't look carefully, you might think it has only one pincer.
Its two claws have different functions. The larger one is just for the male crab to show off, demonstrate, fight and show love, while the smaller one is used for digging and eating. There is a big difference between male crabs and female crabs. Male crabs only have a claw that is about the same size as the body, while female crabs do not.
