Long-fin Blue Ram (Papiliochromis ramirezi)

The long-tailed Avatar Blue Ram Cichlid, also known as the long-finned Blue Phoenix, belongs to the Cichlidae family. It has a slender body, with adults reaching about 6-7.5 cm in length. Males have red edges on their fins, four extended black spines on their dorsal fin, a sapphire blue body, metallic scales, golden spots on their operculum, and a light red hue on their caudal and anal fins, densely covered with iridescent blue spots. As a blue spirit among ornamental fish, it can be kept in a community tank with plants, alongside tetras and corydoras, or alone in a still water tank.
