The white-skinned crescent moon is a perennial dwarf shrub of the family Erythraceae. It is native to Africa and cultivated in southwest China. White-skinned moonflower often grows in shrubs and semi-desert areas. It likes sunlight, tolerates drought, avoids high temperature exposure, and is intolerant to cold and waterlogging.

Due to the influence of the growth environment, the surface of the fleshy stems of White Moon World is covered with a waxy coating. After death, the coating still exists and can be ignited even in humid conditions; because of its slow growth, unique shape, and unique taste, Beautiful in appearance, the stems, leaves and flowers of the white-skinned moon are all ornamental and suitable for viewing as small potted plants.
