Mandarin Vampire Crab White Arm (Geossarma notoohorum)

The difference between the white-armed candy devil crab and the candy devil crab is a pair of yellow-white claws. The color scheme is very eye-catching.

Candy Devil Crabs have a special feature : the female carries the hatchlings on her back for a while until the babies finally leave the mother and stand on their own legs.

The candy devil crab is a small, colorful, semi-terrestrial species native to the Indonesian island of Java. It inhabits forested areas near streams, rivers and ponds.

Food: Dried fish, dried shrimp, fish food, turtle food

1. Female crabs are darker than male crabs and have smaller claws.

2. It is normal for crabs to break their legs to survive when they are stressed. After shelling out, severed limbs will regenerate.

3. Although the sub-adults are lighter in color, they are very active. It usually takes about 1-2 times of shedding to become an adult.
