Hoya callistophylla
As the name suggests, the light watermelon peel ball orchid has a sharp contrast between the texture and color of the leaves. It feels like a watermelon rind and the leaves are thick and hard. It is also a good choice for foliage viewing.
There are umbels in the leaf axils, spherical in shape, with pink corolla, yellow center, star-shaped, slightly curved downward, and white corolla, star-shaped.
Flowering period:
The flowering period of ball orchids is generally from April to June, and if maintained well, they can bloom until September. Therefore, after March, you can control water and increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to encourage flowering of ball orchids.
