Gibbaeum album belongs to the family Aizoaceae, genus Gibbaeum, and is native to the Little Karoo plateau in South Africa. Its appearance is highly distinctive; the opposite leaves are ovate or nearly spherical, covered with fine white fuzz, presenting a grayish-white to whitish-green color. The leaf tips have a saddle-shaped notch, resembling closely connected camel humps. The plant grows slowly and easily offsets to form clusters.With its unique form and low maintenance requirements, Gibbaeum album has become a prized collectible for succulent enthusiasts.
