旋律鯊魚捕蠅草是在韓國食蟲植物研究所的Gi-Won Jang博士和他的實習生Max Yoon培育出來的。他們用一批來自英國的，標記為鯊魚齒(Shark Tooth)的捕蠅草，進行播種繁殖。研究所的目的不在培育新園藝種，而是為了普及和保育捕蠅草。他們在無菌的組培環境，從100棵播種的實生苗裏面，發現了這棵植株。KMS的特徵非常明顯，永遠細長的葉柄，齒的形態也非常不規則。是怪異捕蠅草愛好者必備藏品。
最好種在陽臺或露臺光線最強的位置。夏天適當遮陰50%，冬天適當避寒。
