The pearl snakehead is also known as the moon snakehead. It is one of the common fish species and also a relatively well-known ornamental fish, often kept in homes as a pet. In terms of size, the moon snakehead is a medium-sized fish; they generally do not grow very large. Typically, an adult moon snakehead will not exceed 30 centimeters in length.
