It lives in the bottom waters and feeds on insects, shrimps, fish, snails, crabs, etc. Unlike other soda pufferfish, this fish does not need to be fed with salt, just pure fresh water.

You can feed animal feed, such as dried shrimps, dried fish, and dried insects. It is also fun to feed live bait occasionally.
