佛肚竹，又稱大肚竹、佛竹、羅漢竹、葫蘆竹等，是禾本科簕竹屬的一種叢生型竹類植物。原產於中國華南地區，如廣東等地，現中國南方各地以及亞洲的馬來西亞和美洲均有引種栽培。
喜光，夏季高溫需遮蔭。园土需注意土壤板结。
注：小株佛肚竹佛肚部分可能未成形，佛肚不明显，整体植株偏细长。
竹子的葉片有個別發黃同黑點，是屬於正常現象，介意不要落單！
竹子葉片可能會在打包同運輸的路上碰撞導致落葉情況，只要竹子的根苗是健康的，後面會重新生長新的葉片
