國王花燭也叫火鶴王、皺葉花燭，原產於南美洲哥倫比亞的大型著生性花燭，葉片具有明顯的波浪狀皺折，所以有著洗衣板火鶴的稱號。
它生長在熱帶氣候中，因為它的大而下擺的葉子可以長達幾英尺，因此可以作為溫室或室內觀葉植物。
