Anastatus wasp eggs cards (10 sheets), lychee stink bug natural enemy, pest natural enemy
Anastatus japonicus is an egg parasitoid of the lychee stink bug, belonging to the category of biological control natural enemy insects used for pest control. Adult wasps lay their eggs inside the eggs of the lychee stink bug. The larvae feed on the stink bug egg fluid, eliminating the pests. After emerging, they can continue to parasitize. Their average control efficacy against lychee stink bug eggs exceeds 80%, which can reduce pesticide use and protect the orchard ecosystem.
Target pests: The primary target pest is the lychee stink bug, suitable for lychee and longan orchards.
Method of use: Hang the cards on the middle and upper branches of the plants. For the first application, use 1 card for every 2 trees; for the second application, use 1 card per tree; for the third application, use 1 card for every 2 trees.
Precautions: Release the wasps on a sunny day with temperatures above 18°C. At this time, Anastatus japonicus are highly active and more likely to disperse and find hosts.
Purchase instructions: Because Anastatus japonicus are time-sensitive and parasitic, it is normal for some eggs to hatch into wasps before the customer receives the egg cards. There is no need to worry; each egg card has a sufficient number of eggs to compensate for losses, and more wasps will continue to hatch later, which will not affect the overall efficacy. All Anastatus japonicus will hatch in approximately 10-15 days.
