Silverback fern (Aleuritopteris argentea)

Silverback fern is found in Nepal, Myanmar, northern India, Russia (Siberia), Mongolia, Korea, Japan and China.

Silver-backed fern likes sun but tolerates shade, is cold-tolerant and drought-tolerant. It likes to grow in loose calcareous soil, and can also grow in neutral or slightly acidic soil. It is also tolerant of semi-shade and extremely drought-tolerant. The leaves will bend when there is no rain for a long time, and they will stretch when they are slightly moist.
