Bonsai Pot Sanbou Medium length approx. 31cm Rectangular pot with rounded corners, glazed, used item, actual product. Made by Sanbou, Sanbou Kojima Pottery. It was once popular as a high-quality and affordable Tokoname-ware pot, mainly mass-produced using the mold-pressing method. Since the mid-1980s, the company has focused on high-end products with an emphasis on finishing, and has been producing stable products. The types of pots are mainly standard ones, and including glazes, and large and small sizes, there are hundreds of types. Glazes include lapis lazuli, jun glaze, namako glaze, and white glaze. Previously, "Sanbou-zou" was used for mass-produced types, and "Sanbou-zou Hou-shu" and "Sanbou-zou Fu-tei..." were used for high-end products.
