Diamond clam (Lamprologus stappersi)
The scallop, an elf that is only a few centimeters long, is favored by many tropical fish enthusiasts because it has many distinctive and charming characteristics. It has the unique behavior of occupying shells, searching for and selecting empty shells that it likes, occupying them, and making the shell its home. The shell is its resting place, hiding place and breeding place. It can also drag and push shells smartly and dexterously, place them in the right place, and then start digging sand and gravel to decorate its home. The clam swallows sand with its mouth, flaps its fins to blow the sand, and then pushes, pushes, and pulls hard to place the shell in place. It was not until most of the shell was buried in the sand that a delicate round entrance was left.
