Bonsai Pot, Yozan Kiln, Hideaki, Small Size, Approx. 17.5cm Long, Round Pot, Glazed, New, Current Stock. Real name: Hideaki Shimizu. His father, Yozan, was a bonsai pot craftsman and one of Tokoname's leading glaze masters. His products are mainly small to medium-sized glazed items, up to about 50cm. Round pots are generally made on a potter's wheel, while other bonsai pots are made with molds. Molds are shaped thickly and then re-carved by hand. He produces a wide variety of items, including cat-leg pots, painted pots, and earth-toned pots, ranging from unique, one-off creations to mass-produced items.
