Bonsai pot, Tokoname Hideaki Yozan kiln, small size, approximately 17.3cm long, oval pot, lower band, lapis lazuli glaze, current item. Real name: Hideaki Shimizu. His father, Yozan, was a bonsai pot craftsman and one of Tokoname's leading glaze masters. His products are mainly small to medium-sized glazed items up to about 50 cm. Round pots are basically made on a potter's wheel, and other bonsai pots are made with molds. Molds are made thick and then re-carved by Hideaki himself. He produces a wide range of items, including pots with paw feet, painted pots, and mud-colored pots, with some being close to one-of-a-kind creations and others being mass-produced.
