The following year, in 1974 (Showa 49), he inherited the name Shuho. His pottery techniques are diverse, including coil building and press molding. His works are characterized by elegant forms with a touch of distinctive charm. He also specializes in glazed items, demonstrating unique ingenuity in his skilled use of glazes.
