Known for his excellent taste and high-quality glazed pots. In 2020, he won the gold prize in the Glazed Pottery category at the Modern Small Pot Exhibition held concurrently with the Gafu-ten. He is the nephew of Shigeru Fukuda, a leading figure in modern glazed pot making, and studied at the Fukuda Kobo Pottery Class organized by Mr. Shigeru. Being a bonsai enthusiast himself, he creates pots characterized by user-friendly shapes and a wide variety of glazes.
