【Living Environment】Terrestrial, semi-aquatic environment (do not keep in deep water)

• They prefer spacious, well-ventilated environments; glass tanks or reptile terrariums can be used for keeping.
• Substrate must be used. Recommended substrates include coco soil, bottom sand, and moss. Driftwood and hiding facilities (coconut bricks, bottom sand, moss, etc., available on websites) need to be arranged.
• They are good climbers, so the enclosure needs a lid to prevent escape.
• It is recommended to prepare a separate molting bucket, filled with thick coco soil for them to burrow in.
• Insufficient humidity can lead to dry gills, so regular spraying is necessary.
• Hermit crabs cannot drink tap water directly; it will cause death. Purified water can be used.
• Must provide both a freshwater bowl and a saltwater bowl simultaneously.
• Daily diet can include fruits, fish and shrimp meat, or specialized crab food.
• When changing shells, you can choose shells that are 1-2cm longer than the old shell and have an opening 1-2cm wider than the old shell opening for them to choose from.

White strawberry hermit crabs are native to the coastal forests of Indonesia and Japan. Unlike regular strawberry hermit crabs, they have a lighter body color, and different individuals may show varying degrees of light red or pink.
