Voodoo Lily (Amorphophallus atroviridis)
In recent years, Witch Gu Lily has been discovered and loved by plant enthusiasts due to its high popularity as an Araceae plant.
Although the witch lily is called a lily, it has nothing to do with the Liliaceae family. It is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Arum genus of the Araceae family.
The leaves of Witch Gu Lily are very special. The dark blue leaves are surrounded by a rose red border. The strong contrasting colors are very visually impactful. The leaves are very soft to the touch and have a velvety texture, which is one of the most charming aspects of the witch lily.
The dormant period of Witch Gu Lily is generally about 6 months (October-April), so after the leaves wither or the flowers wither, it will enter the dormant period. During the dormant period, be careful not to water frequently, as the roots will easily accumulate water and rot.
