The Xanthic White Cloud Mountain Minnow is a xanthic variation of the White Cloud Mountain Minnow. They are lively and docile, and can live normally in water temperatures as low as 5°C.
White Cloud Mountain Minnows primarily feed on zooplankton and detritus. They can also accept artificial food.
The White Cloud Mountain Minnow has a brown back and a silvery-white belly, with a golden-yellow or silvery-blue longitudinal stripe along the middle of its flank, bordered by several dark brown lines above and below the stripe. There is a dark red circular spot at the base of its caudal peduncle.
