Golden Brandtii (Serrasalmus brandtii)

When talking about high-end piranhas, we have to mention the Golden Brandi. Because it can only be collected in an extremely limited production area, it is a rare species that is rarely seen. He is extremely aggressive, courageous, and very active in his interactions with others. The body of Golden Brandi is mainly golden, and some individuals tend to be silvery-white or with brown spots.

The body color of the adult fish is relatively uniform, while the juvenile fish has many hidden spots on both sides of the body, and the root of the tail fin has a smoky color. The body is brassy and the fins may show a lemon tint.

The maximum body length recorded so far is 30cm, and those exceeding 25cm are relatively rare. It has a fierce personality and strong territorial awareness, so it is better to be kept in a single tank.
