Royal Twig Catfish (Sturisoma panamense)

The body of the Crown Helicopter is very slender, and the snout protrudes forward to form a triangle. There is an irregular black stripe on both sides of the body from the snout to the top of the anal fin. This stripe extends upward from the base of the dorsal fin to the tip of the dorsal fin. Moreover, the pectoral fins of the Crown Helicopter are very large. When the male reaches adulthood, the end of the pectoral fin will pull out a beautiful fin, which corresponds to the slender fin of the tail fin.

Crown Helicopters are omnivorous and require both plant and animal food. Fresh feeds such as cucumbers, watermelon rinds, and frozen bloodworms are their favorite foods.
