Rhinogobius brunneus
The brown goby is a large goby, with a maximum body size of 9cm+, and a common body size of 4 to 8cm. The wild population inhabits the still water environment in the middle and lower reaches of rivers and lakes.
The brown-beaked goby is famous for its "high-sail" goby.
The brown goby does not appear to have throat lines, but actually has very thin orange dots.
