Silvervein grass closes its leaves at night and reopens them in the morning. The front side of the leaves is silver and the back side is bronze, so they appear bronze at night and silver during the day, giving them a dual appearance.

Silvervein grass has swaying copper-colored leaves. The small star-shaped flowers bloom in rows and look very cute.
