Madagascar hissing cockroaches (Gromphadorhina portentosa)

The Madagascar vocal cockroach is found only on the African island of Madagascar. It is a large cockroach, with an adult body length of up to 5-7cm.

Falklands cockroaches can be kept as pets. All they need is a small living area and a shelter because they don't like light. Since they love to climb, provide them with something to climb on, just like they would in their natural environment. A glass fish tank is most suitable, but it is best to apply a little Vaseline to prevent them from crawling out of the breeding space. Food options include vegetables and protein-rich feed, such as dry dog ​​food.
