The Rosy Barb (Puntius conchonius) is a tropical ornamental fish. Juveniles are silvery-white, and as they grow, their backs become silvery-white, their dorsal sides yellowish-green, with a black circular spot on their posterior body and black spots on their dorsal fin. During breeding, males display nuptial coloration, turning rose-red and becoming vibrant and beautiful. They are active and social, but they tend to bully smaller fish, so it's not advisable to keep them with other fish.
