Hoya finlaysonii long leaf
The reason why orchid lovers grow the Fernandezia longleaf is the spectacular foliage. The leaves are light green in color with prominent dark emerald green veins and dark green edges. The oval leaves have a cardboard-like texture and feel to them.
The flowers of this plant have arguably been overlooked by enthusiasts because its foliage already steals the spotlight. However, when the plant blooms in summer, the small umbels of creamy white flowers with maroon outer lobes do emit a lovely cinnamon-like scent.
Flowering period:
The flowering period of ball orchids is generally from April to June, and if maintained well, they can bloom until September. Therefore, after March, you can control water and increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to encourage flowering of ball orchids.
