Karel's Imperial Tabby Pineapple Fish comes from Rio Ventuari, Venezuela.

The Karel pineapple is very stable after it starts to develop color. It does not encounter serious diseases and basically does not fade, so it has high ornamental value. Karel Pineapple has a gentle character and can be mixed with South American fish of similar size. Occasionally, there will be some fights between fish of the same species, but when many fish are kept together, the fights will be reduced. It is not recommended to keep them with small fish such as lantern fish, as they can easily be used as food.
