Dypsis lutescens

The plant is a bushy shrub of the family Palmaceae. The root of the plant is slightly enlarged. The leaves are pinnately split, flat and downwardly curved, yellow-green, with waxy white powder on the surface. The inflorescence is conical, with relatively small flowers and eggs. Spherical, completely yellow; the fruit is gyro-shaped or obovate, earthy yellow when fresh, purple-black when dry, with smooth outer skin; seeds are slightly obovate; flowering period is May; fruiting period is August.
