Dudleya edulis, also known as Fingertips, is a succulent plant belonging to the Dudleya genus in the Crassulaceae family. Its leaves are cylindrical, and some plants may turn reddish in certain conditions, resembling colored pencils. During its summer flowering season, it produces long flower stalks that bear star-shaped white or pale yellow small flowers.
For care, Dudleya edulis requires bright indirect light, with appropriate shading in summer to prevent leaf scorching. Water only after the soil has completely dried out, and keep the soil dry in winter. It is recommended to use a well-draining gritty soil mix for cultivation, with a small amount of organic matter added to promote growth. This unique succulent is very suitable for potted cultivation, adding an elegant linear aesthetic to windowsills, balconies, and other spaces.
