Drosera peltata var.glabata
Photocalyx bulbous Drosera is a species of the genus Drosera that has evolved to survive summer drought conditions and undergo aestivation as dormant underground tubers.
Drosera is one of the easiest tuber species to cultivate , a trait attributed to its water and temperature tolerant nature. Tuberous sundews generally require wet, cool winters, their active growing season, and warm, nearly bone-dry summers, otherwise the dormant tubers will rot. Drosera can withstand humid summers.
Nursing requirements:
Light: bright scattered light
Watering: keep moist/dry during summer dormancy
Medium: peat soil/sphagnum moss
