Dracaena draco (L.) L.

Dragon's blood tree, also known as dragon's blood tree and dragon's blood tree, is a perennial evergreen tree of the genus Dracaena in the Liliaceae family. It has a tall tree shape with branches, gray stem bark, and ring-shaped leaf marks on the young branches; leaves are clustered on the stem. The top is sword-shaped and dark green; the panicles are white with green flowers and filaments; the berries are orange and spherical; the flowering period is from March to May, and the fruiting period is from July to August. It is native to Spain, tropical and subtropical areas of Africa, and is also distributed in southern China. Dracaena likes light; likes high temperature and humid environment; is not cold-tolerant; and likes loose, well-drained soil rich in humus.

Dracaena likes a warm, humid and sunny environment. As long as there is sufficient light and moist and fresh air, it can grow vigorously. Often used for home green plants and living room decoration.
