Venus is native to the state of Hidalgo in central Mexico. It was introduced in China and widely cultivated in various places. In its place of origin, it grows at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, where the temperature difference between day and night is large, and there are weeds and shrubs for shade during its growth period. It has the habit of dormant in cold seasons and growing in warm seasons.
Venus is a common spherical variety of indoor potted cactus. Venus is warty and club-shaped, with soft flesh, emerald green color, luxuriant growth, easy flowering, and brightly colored flowers.
