Leopard geckos originate from Pakistan, India, Iran, and Afghanistan, primarily inhabiting plains or mountainous regions. The optimal temperature range for leopard geckos is 25-32°C. In captivity, leopard geckos mainly feed on crickets, superworms, feeder roaches, and pinky mice.
Recommended feeding frequency: Juveniles should be fed daily (5-8 small insects),adults every 2-3 days (8-10 medium insects). Since leopard geckos are nocturnal, they do not require UVB lighting. Additionally, calcium and vitamin supplementation are crucial for preventing metabolic bone disease. Before feeding insects, dust them with: calcium powder + vitamin D3 supplement (2-3 times per week)
