The Fire Red Cichlid is a very popular Malawi cichlid, primarily due to its vibrant body color. In their juvenile stage, both males and females are orange-yellow. As adults, males develop a bright fire red color, while females retain their orange-yellow hue. Their light blue dorsal, caudal, and anal fins still display fire red markings, and their entire body shimmers with a metallic luster, making them very eye-catching. They have no other杂色 (miscellaneous colors) or black spots on their bodies.
