Alocasia Rugosa ( Alocasia melo )
Alocasia melo is an exotic tropical plant with stiff, dark green leaves that look and feel like cardboard. This plant grows naturally on a rocky surface and is thus used to little water at its roots. Unlike most other Alocasias, therefore, it needs less water , but do try to ensure high humidity. Place it in partial shade. The optimum growing temperature lies between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius.
