Bonsai pot, Yozan Kiln, Hideaki. Small size, approximately 10cm long. Round pot, glazed. New, in stock. Real name: Shimizu Hideaki. His father, Yozan, was a bonsai pot craftsman and one of Tokoname's leading glaze masters. His products mainly consist of small and medium-sized glazed items up to about 50cm. Round pots are generally made on a potter's wheel, while other bonsai pots are made using molds. Molded pots are cast thickly and then re-carved by hand. He produces a wide variety of items, including cat-foot designs, painted pots, and earth-colored pots, ranging from unique, one-off pieces to mass-produced items.
